We are very excited about the new Cal-Check
Portable HI 9126--- a great waterproof pH meter. We use this pH meter for
field verifications. The 9126 is the next generation of the field proven
model HI 9025 that has been the "gold standard" for so many years.
This pH meter has the ability to calibrate
automatically using the standard pH buffers and one custom (user defined)
buffers to take advantage our any of the "technical" special buffers which cover
the entire pH range. (see accessories in this pH section). It also
has an option to use a back lighted display for low light environments.
The Cal-check feature shows the condition of the
electrode using a bar graph in the lower left of the display. Read more
about Cal-check in the "technical info" section of this website.
This meter includes a hard plastic travel case, pH
electrode, temperature sensor, AA batteries, buffers and instruction manual.

Field Monitoring Meters for pH, ORP and
ISE: HI 9817x
And now, the 9026 has some big brothers: Introducing
the field monitoring Calibration Check™
Meters:
HI 98170 / HI 98171 / HI 98172. These pH
meters feature rechargeable batteries with an inductive recharger. The
battery life is about 200 hours for long operation in the field. But when
the batteries are low, simply put the meter in Hanna's inductive recharger
cradle for a few hours and you are ready to go. And to make life even
better, the recharger can be powered from a car 12 volt outlet or with the
included 115V adaptor.

While the rechargeable feature is nice, the real story
about this trio of meters are the powerful analytical assets: GLP, pH/ORP/ISE
measurements, ATC, auto-calibration at up to five points including custom buffer
values (user configured) plus seven standard values, backlit display, log
on demand, RS-232 interface and of course the Hanna calibration check 5 bar
graphic indicator which determines the electrode condition. Depending upon
which model is selected, the user can use a variety of electrodes such as: pH,
ORP, Fluoride, Sodium, and other ISE's.

The Next Evolution in pH meters:
Graphic
LCD Portable Meters: HI 98180, HI 98181, HI 98182, HI 98183, HI 98184 & HI 98185
These meters feature a rugged rubberized waterproof
"military" case, USB computer connectivity, backlit graphical display,
Calibration Check™ messages, logging of data, rechargeable batteries with an
inductive charger, accuracy 0.01 or 0.002 pH and 0.2mV. The last two
in the series will even accept ISE electrodes and read directly in ppm (mg/l).
These meters represent the next step in pH meter evolution. Who needs a
manual? The meters feature an extensive help menu covering every aspect of the owner's manual. In this
family of meters, Hanna Instruments also introduces advanced
conductivity/resistivity and dissolved oxygen products. HI 98180 pH only,
HI 98181 pH and mV 0.01pH/0.1mV, HI 98182 pH and mV- 200 data points- 0.001pH,
0.1mV and the HI 98183 has the features of the 98182 but uses a combined pH &
temperature sensor electrode.
ISE Meters: The HI 98184 and HI 98185
improve upon the HI 98183 by including ISE electrode capability. Using any
of the family of Ion Specific Electrodes, these meters will read directly in ppm
or mg/l with either monovalent or divalent ions. Logging points are
increased to 300 on demand data samples. Data can be downloaded thru the
waterproof USB port. Hanna software makes it easy.

Direct Soil pH Measurement Kit
- Test pH directly
in soil, media and compost
- Dual level LCD
displays pH and temperature simultaneously
- Intuitive menu
prompts simplify operation and calibration
The HI 99121 kit has been designed to address the question
of correct and rapid measurement of pH directly in soil.
Every item in this kit has been made to facilitate
measurements in the field without compromising accuracy.
With HI 99121 you can test the pH of soil directly or after
preparation of a diluted sample. In order to measure the pH
directly, the kit includes a plastic auger to perforate the
ground. The HI 1292D pH electrode has been designed for
direct soil measurement. It has a conic, rugged tip and can
be directly inserted in moist or soft soil. The electrode
incorporates a temperature sensor right near the tip to
enable it to measure and compensate for the temperature
quickly. For higher degrees of accuracy, or for stony ground
where the electrode may be damaged, use the specially made
HI 7051M soil preparation solution. This solution is
included in the package to help you measure pH more
precisely by diluting a sample of the soil in it. The
dual-level LCD shows the pH value from -2 to 16 with 0.01
resolution. It also displays the temperature on the
secondary level at the same time. With a menu-driven custom
microprocessor, the user is helped with clear prompts during
operation and calibration.
HI 99121 is supplied complete with HI 1292D rugged carrying
case pH electrode, ground auger, HI 7051M soil preparation
solution, pH 4 and pH 7 buffer sachets, HI 700663 and HI
700664 electrode cleaning solutions, batteries, rugged
carrying case and instructions.

Long battery life
for extended use
The HI 9210N heavy-duty pH meter is designed to provide laboratory
results and accuracy under the harshest of industrial conditions. HI
9210N is supplied with a rugged pH electrode which, in addition to the
pH reference system and sensitive bulb, incorporates a temperature
sensor and a miniaturized amplifier. You need to use only one probe
for both measurements! The electrode signal is also pre-amplified and
strengthened to give you better protection against noise and
electromagnetic interference, a common phenomenon in industrial
applications. Calibration is manual and the trimmers are placed behind
a protective cover. This assures that the unit can be calibrated at
any pH buffer value. The protective cover also keeps the meter
watertight and prevents the calibration from being tampered with. Even
though the HI 9210N’s battery life is an incredible 2000 hours, a low
voltage indicator appears on the screen to alert the user that there
is only 20 hours of battery life left. Afterwards, the BEPS (Battery
Error Prevention System) will stop any false readings by shutting the
meter off.
HI 9210N is
supplied complete with HI 1217D gel-filled combination pH/°C
electrode, and 1 m (3.3') DIN cable, 4 x 1.5V AA batteries and
instruction manual.

Portable pH Meter with Sensor Check
- Ideal for Water
Plating baths, potable water & Swimming Pools
- 4-in-1 Probe (pH,
ORP, pH/mV & temperature)
- Sensor Check
Feature
HI 991003 is the first pH meter that can measure pH, pH-mV
(to check the electrode status), ORP and temperature with
only one probe. Since ORP measurements are strongly affected
by pH level, HANNA instruments ® has developed the first
meter that simultaneously measures both ranges. With all
other instruments you need to switch the pH electrode with
an ORP electrode (or vice-versa) and, therefore, it is
impossible to have both measurements at the same time. HI
991003 is largely used to control plating bath waste water,
swimming pool water quality and potable water sanitizing
processes. HI 991003 is provided with our unique Sensor
Check feature that allows the user to establish the status
of the pH electrode before performing measurements. The
Sensor Check feature consists of a pH-mV scale that shows
the characteristics (slope and offset) of the sensor,
allowing the user to determine if the electrode is in good
condition. HI 991003 is protected in a waterproof casing for
use in humid and wet environments. It also features a large
duallevel LCD that displays pH or ORP and temperature
readings simultaneously.
HI 991003 is supplied complete with HI 1297D pH/ORP
electrode with internal temperature sensor, pH 4 and pH 7
buffer sachets, HI 700661 electrode cleaning solution (2 x
20 mL), batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions.

Leather & Paper pH Meter
- Important for
Production & Packaging
- Quick & Easy
Measurements
- Flat Tip Probe
Designed for Surface Contact
Direct measurement of pH on paper and leather is made fast
and easy with the HI 99171 pH meter provided with a flat tip
probe, specially designed to optimize surface contact with
the sample. pH measurement of papers and cartons is
important, not only in the production phase, but also in the
packaging phase. The food industry, for example, performs
many compatibility tests; one of these is pH. Measurements
are automatically compensated for the effects of temperature
with the internal sensor of the probe and the LCD
continuously displays the sample's temperature. All
operations can be performed simply with 2 buttons; messages
and symbols on the display guide the user through each
measurement and calibration procedures. pH and temperature
ranges are extended, from -2.00 to 16.00 pH and -5.0 to
105.0 °C respectively. Calibration is automatic at 1 or 2
points, selectable by the user between 2 memorized buffer
sets. Battery life is more than 1500 hours and the
percentage of the remaining charge is displayed when the
meter is turned on. HI 99171 turns off automatically after 8
minutes of inactivity.
HI 99171 is supplied with HI 1414D pH electrode, pH 4 and pH
7 buffer sachets, HI 700680 cleaning solution (2 x 20 mL
sachet), HI 70960 sample preparation solution (30 mL),
batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions.
