The new CHLORINE ANALYZER/CONTROLLER for continuous monitoring now has optional pH and ORP sensors to insure E-coli kill.  Maintaining a dosage of chlorine does not insure the effective destruction of harmful bacteria.  The ORP level must also be within the proper range.  The new model PCA 330 has it all.  For additional information, read the technical article on "Chlorination" in the Technical Articles section of this website.

Insuring the efficacy of pathogen killing requires a stable pH and ORP at a minimum level in addition to the chlorine concentration level.
